Tips on the New Website

Website UpdatesWith all of the updates we’ve made to the website in recent months, we thought it would be a good idea to review some of the new additions we’ve added that hopefully helps congregants in their interaction with the synagogue.

When you would like to add someone to the Mi Shebeirach list, you can now make a submission directly from the website.  It works both from computers and mobile devices.  The link is https://kolami-tx.org/wp/mi-shebeirach-list/.  You will find it under the Community menu at the top of the page as well.

Do you need something added here, to the weekly newsletter, and/or the Facebook page(s)? Make sure we get it just right and use the submission form at think link:  https://kolami-tx.org/wp/websitenewletter-submission/.  You can also find this at the bottom of every page on the far right under Website/Newsletter Submission.    We do our best to get anything submitted here posted that week (unless requested for a future date).  However, anything received after noon on Tuesday of the same week is not guaranteed to make the newsletter the following day.

Can’t make weekly services but want to learn more about the parsha that week?  Click on the Torah ‘n’ Tefilah link on the Calendar.  It includes a link each week to the URJ’s commentary.  You can always find the Calendar by using the menu at the top of every page.

Donations have been reenabled on the site.  You can make a donation as well as request yahrzeit plaques and Tree of Life leaves and stones quickly and easily online.  You can use the menu item at the top of each page or use this link to see it:  https://kolami-tx.org/wp/general-donation-form/.

Those are just a few of the updates.  We hope to continue to improve on the site and its usefulness to you.  If you have questions or comments, please send an email to techhelp@kolami-tx.org.   We’ll do our best to get back with you as quickly as possible.
