Dallas Kosher Chili Cook-Off Cancelled Due to Coronavirus Concerns

Tiferet Israel and the Chili Cook-off Steering Committee have decided to cancel the cook-off this weekend due to health concerns for the Dallas Jewish and general community, the cooking teams, vendors and volunteers.

“Canceling the Dallas Kosher Chili Cook-off was a very difficult decision, however, we feel it is the right decision given the current situation.” said Stuart Roosth, President of Tiferet Israel.

“While we believe we had adequate health precautions in place, many have called us with concerns about having so many in our community together at this time. Our primary concern is the health, safety, and welfare of our community members.” Ed Jerome, Chili Cook-off Co-Chair.

Over the course of the day (today, Thursday, March 12) either Jennifer in the Tiferet Israel office or a member of the Chili Cook-Off committee will call your main contact person listed on your registration forms to discuss logistics. Please be patient with us, as we try to reach out to each of our teams, sponsors, vendors, volunteers and all the support groups that help us make the Chili Cook-Off happen.

We look forward to 2021 to celebrate the return of the Dallas Kosher Chili Cook-Off and a healthy, safe community.
Sincerely,

The Dallas Kosher Chili Cook-Off Committee
