Break the Fast

Join your cka community for break the fast immediately following the Yizkor /Neilah service. Please bring your favorite dairy based side to share. Sisterhood will provide the bagels and cream cheese.


Please join sisterhood for Dinner in the Sukkah. Everyone is invite and this is a family friendly event so please bring the entire family. This is a dairy based potluck so bring your favorite meatless dish to share.

Dinner in the Sukkah

Kol Ami is restarting our youth groups. There will be a 6-8th grade youth group and a 9-12 grade youth group. The kick off events will take place at Kol Ami after religious school on Sunday, September 27th from 12:45-2:15pm. Please register below so we know how many kids to expect.


Celebrate Sukkot with smoothies in the Sukkah on Wednesday, September 30th at 6pm. Enjoy delicious smoothies and spend time together with friends. Please RSVP below so we are sure to have enough for everyone.


Quiz Night

Hey Smarty Pants! Join us for an evening of fun and friendly competition, while we support Congregation Kol Ami. 

The cost is $20 per person. Make a team before you come or join on the night of. There is no limit to the amount of players on your team. Members and their family and friends are welcomed and encouraged.

Dessert and coffee will be provided. Everything else is BYOB. Register today using the button below or click on the image.

CKA partners with The JFS Dallas Food Pantry, which distributes more than one million pounds of food each year, and they are on track to provide over 1.2 million pounds of food to an estimated 10,000 people this year! That is only possible because of the local community. The items JFS collects actually gets used; it does not disappear into a warehouse, it goes home with a neighbor.

  • Simchat Torah Shabbat Service
    October 2, 2026 – 7:30 PM Join Kol Ami on Friday, October 2nd at 7:30pm for our Simchat Torah celebration. Sing and dance as we unroll the entire Torah, complete the book of Deuteronomy, and begin again. It will be a night filled with joy and community.
  • Lunch in the Sukkah
    September 29 – October 30, 2026 – Each Day at 12:00 PM Bring your own kosher style lunch and join Rabbi Papell at noon in the sukkah on Tuesday, September 29th, Wednesday, September 30th, and Thursday Oct 1st. Come for conversation and to shake the lulav and etrog.
  • 20s and 30s Honey Taste Test
    Calling all 20s & 30s! Join us after Shabbat services on September 25th as we celebrate the New Year together with a honey tasting! Honey will be provided, but you can bring your own as well.
