It has been brought to our attention that yet another phishing attempt has been done using the Rabbi’s name. It prompted us to send out these important reminders:
- The Rabbi will never send you an email asking you to keep your correspondence in secret.
- The Rabbi will never tell you he is too busy to talk and please keep the responses to email only.
- The Rabbi nor CKA will never ask you to transact anything via gift cards.
- If it sounds suspicious, it probably is.
- Before you take any action from an email request, call the office or Rabbi first. We’ll always be able to confirm whether an email is legitimate or not.
The best advice is if you are unsure about something, please just double check with us first.
