American Scripture Project
The 4th Tues. of the month for six sessions
(2 Sessions Remaining)
Mar. 26, May 28
American Scripture Project invites us to engage together with some of our country’s most historic writings in order to wrestle with what it means to be an American — and to be Jewish — in the 21st century.
Using the methods of Torah study, at each session, we examine a seminal American text and unearth the meaning of the words, elevate their implications, and wrestle with the contradictions posed, allowing us each to derive our own meaning.
American Scriptures will inspire us and reteach us how to discover narratives that unify us as a community of Americans.
This course is free for all CKA members. There is a $50 charge for non-members to attend the course. Please use the form below to sign up. We hope you will be joining us for the amazing project!
