Torah ‘n’ Tefilah

At 10:00 AM on Saturday mornings, we hold Torah ‘n’ Tefilah. It is an informal service in-the-round with Torah and Haftarah study. This year we will be using the Brandeis list of essential Talmud passages every Jew should know. Topics will be as wide-ranging as the Talmud itself – when we should recite the Sh’ma?, What is the human role in understanding revelation, how to correctly interprete “eye for an eye,” and on it goes.
